Hey guys, how are u all doing? Were having a really awesome time here in San Diego!

The weather today is not that great and so were just chilling out at our house right now.

Thursday we wanted to go out again and so we decided to take a party bus, which headed Downtown. The bus we wanted to take was supposed to drive to a club named "Ivy". We accidentally took the wrong bus and so we were finding ourselves at the Hard Rock Hotel. It was awesome there and so we didn't regret that we didn't make it to Ivys. First we were in a club in there called "207" but then we got to know a girl and she took us to a room where bands played some cool songs.

There we met a few other guys, which were all really nice as well

At 1:30am we took the bus back to our university and went with the guys to a after party at their house. It wasn't that far away from our house and so we went home after we chilled there a while.

Yesterday we had a little hangover again and so we just chilled out and went to the beach. We had lunch at Millersfield, which some of you might know from "The Real World: San Diego". The food was really delicious and the atmosphere was pretty cool!

At night we just met up with Monia, Sarah and Lisa and went over to Amandas (a girl we also met on Thursday). It was nice

So now I think we're going to cook something, bye bye!

"Event and the Meeting Industry" nennt sich das Fach.

xoxo

keep partying by Janine

Soo sorry for not writing the last days, but we have been a bit hungover yesterday :D Saturday we went out for the first time here and it was just brilliant! First we met with Sina, Marcel and Jonas at their house and then we went to a club called BeachWood! Its a really good club and after a bit we met a girl which took us with her in their VIP area. A friend of her had birthday and so they just wanted to party as well and they have been all so nice! The clubs here already close at 2pm and so we drove with them to their house and kept the party going :D Yeah, it really was just awesome! First day out and we immediately met some nice guys! So because of the long night we really chilled all day long yesterday :D we seriously did nothing besides driving to a mexican fast food restaurant :D! Today was a lot better, because we just got our nails done and had some delicious food at the Hard Rock Hotel! The food is just always awesome there! Now we're home again and watching some TV. Think we're gonna get to sleep soon! xoxo

Getting to know San Diego...

Today we have been to SDSU in the morning, because we had a meeting with our hospitality professor. He told us something about the different classes and how to choose the right ones. He really was nice and seemed very qualified. Unfortunately the university dont offer some classes which we wanted to attend, like wedding management but still there are some classes which seems really interesting. Its our 4th day now and we really wanted to finally see the beach. So we got in our car ( a cute white Nissan) and just drove in the direction, which we tought would bring us to the beach. Yeah it wasnt that easy (as usual) :D . We drove downtown and saw the stadium and many shops and bars.....but no beach :D. Then we just googeled a street near the beach and used our navigation. That worked pretty well and a few minutes later we saw the ocean and a beautiful beach. You can really tell that it is not summer yet, because there were just a couple of runners. So it was really quiet and we totally could enjoy the atmosphere. Though the weather was not that warm (18-20 degree) it still was really sunny. After we ate some mexican food we left to find a shopping mall ☺ We found it immediately and walked inside. After like 2 minutes we saw Victorias Secret and went directly into it. Yes we bought someting :D You just cannot walk outside a Victorias Secret shop without a bag!! Outside some guy came and wanted to show us his hair straightener collection. He wanted to demonstrate how good this things are so he took Selina and Hannah curled their hair. It really looked awesome after he made it but it was fucking expensive, so we told him that we will think about it and left. Back home we watched Vampire Diaries and tried to check out which classed we can choose. We found some Event courses, but unfortunately two of them are at exactly the same time on the same day. So we will only be able to attend one of them :D. Now we are at the point that we wanna choose two event and two tourism classes. All of them seem to be really interesting and different to the classes at Bits. Tomorrow we need to go to the professor again. He needs to sign our classes so that he confirms that we get free seats and therefore are able to attend these classes. Now its already nearly 11pm and we need to go to sleep. We will have to get up early tomorrow, because at 9am we’ll attend the city tour. Good night.

Some impressions of the city - by Selina

First Day - by Janine

Sooo our first day is nearly over. It was a good but also very exhausting one. In the morning we weren’t able to sleep longer than 6am, because of the jet lag. So we were up quite early and had breakfast together and just enjoyed the sun (which was great, because we had already 21 degree at 11am). This house is so lovely! Everyone has his own bedroom, we have a cute kitchen, 2 baths, a living room and a wonderful garden with a big veranda. When I am looking out of my window, I can see this cute american houses and palm trees. Its so different than at home. At noon we wanted to find a car rental service which is also located in La Mesa. So we took the train a few stations and then just walked down a big street which looked like it was in an industrial area. Unfortunately these shops only offered cars to buy and not to rent. We also didn’t find the shop we were looking for, because we ended up in El Cajon (we were walking around like more than an hour) :D. But this is so typically :D. So we headed back to the train station and drove to the San Diego State University, because we had our registration appointment. The University is so beautiful! All clean and soooo big! You really can’t compare it to Bits :D. The Merch Shop really has everything - SDSU hoodies, shirts, glasses, key rings, college blocs, bottles….! They even have their own mineral water! In the evening we just ate something and watched TV. We are still not used to the 9 hours time difference. But I can already say that this is gonna be an awesome time!!!
